Victory summer gathering

Postby Twisted_Ace » Fri Apr 08, 2016 7:13 pm

A couple of Victory riders are organising a Victory and Indian summer gathering, in Dorset.
It will be at the True Lovers Knot pub (http://www.trueloversknot.co.uk/ ), between Wimborne and Blandford, on July 1st and 2nd, 2016. We have hired a field next to the pub, so there will be plenty of space. The pub has facilities for campers (drinking water, waste disposal point, toilets and shower), that we can use throughout the weekend. They also have excellent food (including a gluten-free menu) and great beers.
If you are interested in coming, please register and pay a £10, non-refundable deposit for each person, via the Dorset Victory dealer, Moore Speed Racing (http://www.moorespeedracing.co.uk/polar ... -2016.html), using the part code, ‘VICTORYCAMP’.
The cost of camping is £10 per pitch, per night, to be paid at the bar of the True Lovers Knot, when you arrive, please.
We are planning a ride out around the Dorset countryside on the afternoon of Saturday July 2nd. Apart from that, it’s just a case of come along and chill out with like-minded souls for a couple of summer days, in Dorset (sunshine not guaranteed).
The weekend is an open invite to:
All Victory owners (and their partners).
All Indian owners (and their partners).
Anyone who owns a road-legal Polaris vehicle (and their partners).
All employees of Victory, Indian and Polaris, whether full-time, part-time, sub-contract, zero hours or casual (and their partners).
All owners and employees of Victory and Indian dealerships (and their partners).
Anyone involved in the transport of Victory and Indian motorcycles (and their partners).
Members of the press, with an interest in Victory or Indian motorcycles (and their partners).
(I think that covers everybody...).
Hope to see you on July 1st!

Thank you to everyone who turned up this weekend - we think it went well and despite a couple of (very...) heavy showers, the rideout was a success. It was great to catch up with Victory and Indian riders from around the U.K. A special mention for Phil, who rode almost 1,000 miles from his home near Frankfurt, just for the Summer Gathering. Nice one!

Thanks to Chris and Chloe at the True Lovers Knot for accommodating us all, and providing excellent food and beer. A special shout out to Colin of Moore Speed Racing, whose very generous donation behind the bar, helped Saturday night go with a bang. Cheers!

Hopefully, we'll be planning something similar for next year. :D

I'm starting to plan my events diary for 2017. Will there be a gathering and, if so, which weekend?

Yes, we are planning a Summer Gathering for 2017. Unfortunately, we cannot confirm the exact weekend, this far ahead. However, we are aiming for the first weekend of July (01/07/17 and 02/07/17)
